Squashies rolls out limited seasonal variant
BRITISH confectionery brand Swizzels is set to bring a squeal this Halloween with the roll out of its limited edition Squashies Squeletons sweets.
Alongside its classic range of sweets, Swizzels has brought something extra special to the Halloween season this year with its new limited edition Squashies variant.
Each 120g pack features the new Halloween Squashies in three vibrant skeleton shapes which come in three flavours, Sour Apple, Strawberry and Orange for an RRP of £1.15.
Swizzels has urged retailers to prepare well in advance for the Halloween season this year and stock up early on a strong range of seasonal sweets to help drive up sales.
The firm is also expecting a high demand and increase in profitability for retailers due to the novelty of the product and general popularity of its Halloween range.
To help to further this demand with consumers, the confectioner is set to roll out a nationwide marketing campaign with cinema ads, targeted video on demand spots, dynamic digital outdoor advertising and in-store promotions.
Alongside the new limited edition variant, Swizzels has rolled out its Halloween fayre with its variety bags of individually wrapped sweets including its Sweet Shop Favourites Tub (RRP £5), Monster Treats (440g bag for RRP £4), Mummy Mix (340g for RRP £3) and Trick or Treat Lolly Mix (330g bag for RRP of £3), which Swizzels has said have proven popular in years prior for Halloween.
