On-pack promo transforms and rolls out for new film
THE Tayto Group has transformed its partnership with Paramount Pictures for the release of the new movie Transformers One with a new on-pack promo for Golden Wonder Transform-A-Snack crisps.
Following on from last year’s partnership which saw Transformers: Rise of the Beasts featured across the brand’s packs, this year has adapted with the launch of the new Transformers One movie and features images from the CGI animated film on pack.
The new packs are available now across the retail channel, helping to make the most from the anticipation for the new film.
Depicting the untold origin story between the characters Optimus Prime and Megatron from the massively popular Transformers franchise, the new film is set to hit theatres in the UK from 11 October.
To make the most of this, Tayto Group said the new promotion will run from now until the end of October, offering consumers the chance to win a family trip to Orlando, Florida plus free theme park entry to Universal Orlando.
The competition will see a family of four – two adults and two children – jetting off to the States to stay in four-star accommodation throughout the trip along with four ‘3 Park Explorer’ tickets for four days as well as a park dining allowance too.
There are also further goodies up for grabs as part of the competition including exclusive Transformers One merchandise bundles.
To enter the competition, consumers can visit the relevant website and enter their details to be in with a chance of winning.
The campaign will also be supported across digital and social media platforms as well as via a strong trade plan including a presence on shoppers and Cash & Carry activity.
Matt Smith, marketing director at Tayto Group, said: “Generations have grown up making cars from tasty Transform-A-Snack and so teaming up again with the Tranformers franchise is the perfect partnership.
“Transform-A-Snack is currently outperforming the market – 18% vs 7% – and we expect this promotion to continue this strong growth.”
