We highlight new products that Scottish c-store retailers might want to stock

UK distributor of White Claw Mark Anthony Brands has announced its latest launch with Lemada drinks.

The new vodka lemonade ready-to-drink can has been made using natural ingredients and comes in two zesty flavours of Tangy Lemon and Juicy Raspberry.

Aiming to capture the attention of younger drinker audiences, including Gen Z and millennials, the Lemada drinks are available in Sainsbury’s stores in a single can format for £2.25.

Additionally, the Lemada offerings are also available via Amazon in packs of 12 for £27.

Lemada comes in a pre-mixed 250ml can that blends triple-distilled vodka and fizzy lemon at 4% ABV.

2. Yorkie Chocolate Dessert Pots

CHOCOLATE brand Yorkie has entered the chiller category with new Chocolate Dessert Pots.

Made by Lactalis Nestlé Chilled Dairy UK & Ireland, the new dessert product features the milk chocolate flavours of Yorkie confectionery in a smooth, chilled dessert – at just 92 calories per pot.

The launch aims to build on the firm’s ambitions in creating healthier and HFSS-compliant products in the widening range.

Available in Tesco stores now, the Yorkie Crème Dessert comes with two 65g recyclable PET pots with an RRP £1.85. There is also a four-pack option available in Iceland stores for £2.50 RRP.

3. Whaoo! crepes with on-pack promotion

FRENCH bakery brand Norac Foods UK has launched a new on-pack promotion for its chocolate-filled crêpes brand Whaoo!.

Running from 5 July to 8 September, the nationwide promotion will be available in Booker sites as well as across grocery, with prizes ranging from a week-long holiday at Badger’s Rest in Somerset to Virgin Experience Days.

Shoppers simply need to peel the back of the sticker on their Whaoo! product after purchase, scan the QR code and enter their details to find out if they have won.

Bruno de Bourmont, director of Norac Foods UK Ltd, said: “The summer is the perfect time for us to launch our latest on-pack promotion to engage families and shoppers in-store.

“With over 350 incredible prizes, we’re ensuring there’s a compelling reason to buy a special pack – from unforgettable family holidays to top-of-the-line bikes and scooters.”

4. Jam Shed wines with on-pack promotion

WINE firm Accolade Wines has a shed-load of prizes to be won in its new prize promotion with Jam Shed.

Featuring a ‘Spin to Win’ mechanic, the on-pack promotion offers consumers the chance to win from more than 25,000 prizes. Kicking off from 1 July for three months, shoppers need only scan the QR code found on the packs to visit the dedicated microsite to spin a virtual wheel and, potentially, win an instant prize.

The promotion will run across the Shiraz, Chardonnay, Malbec, Rosé, Tempranillo and Red Blend variants of Jam Shed.
