Perfetti Van Melle has launched a new Duo Pack format across Mentos Gum, aiming to drive up sales of the brand further here in the UK.

GLOBAL confectionery manufacturer Perfetti Van Melle (PVM) has doubled down on its Mentos Gum range with its new Duo Pack format.

Aiming to drive the brand further here in the UK, the new pack format offers consumers two rolls of Mentos Pure Fresh Gum at an RSP of £1 each within a completely 100% recyclable outer wrapper.

The new format is now available in the four best-selling flavours in the Mentos Gum range including Cherry, Bubble Fresh, Fresh Mint and Tropical.

The new launch follows on a period of financial success for the Mentos Gum brand as Circana data covering the 52 weeks to 16 March said the brand sat at a worth of £11.6million, demonstrating a steady growth of the brand of 19% over the period.

Speaking on the new launch, Sarah Du Plessis, senior brand manager at Mentos, said: “We’re pleased to offer even more moments of freshness with our new Mentos Gum Duo Packs.

“Launching during a summer of major marketing investment, Duo Packs will benefit from the halo effect of Mentos’ £1.5million media gum campaign, including OOH, VOD, YouTube, POS and influencer and social media engagement.

“Awareness will be at an all-time high, supporting in-store sales and driving new, Gen Z audiences to the category.”
