We highlight new products that Scottish c-store retailers might want to stock
1. Diageo The Cocktail Collection
SPIRITS giant Diageo has brought three of its brands to the RTD cocktails category.
The new portfolio of premium cocktail serves – dubbed The Cocktail Collection – come in 500ml bottles and feature the Johnnie Walker Old Fashioned, Tanqueray Negroni and Ciroc Cosmopolitan.
Each bottle contains five serves and the trio will also be made available to the off-trade in 100ml can formats from April.
Nin Taak, marketing manager RTDs at Diageo GB, said: “We recognise that consumers are still looking to create quality, memorable experiences at home and The Cocktail Collection innovation in GB provides consumers with the means to easily elevate any occasion – whether they are hosting a dinner party, having drinks and nibbles with friends or treating themselves with a partner in the evening.”
2. Birra Moretti Sale de Mare
Heineken UK is set to bring a taste of the Italian seaside to the UK with the launch of Birra Moretti Sale di Mare.
Made using sea salt harvested from Sicily, Sale di Mare is now available across grocery, wholesale and convenience channels in multipacks of four 330ml bottles as well as single 660ml bottles.
The launch has also been supported by a multi-million pound nationwide marketing campaign, with a TV campaign on screens in April as well as new glassware.

3.Whitley Neill Yuzu & White Strawberry Gin
PREMIUM gin brand Whitley Neill has announced the launch of its new Japanese Yuzu and White Strawberry Gin.
Marking the latest addition to the gin brand’s flavoured portfolio, the new gin combines the citrus-style kick of yuzu with the sweetness of white strawberries.
The 700ml bottle comes with an ABV of 41.3% and an RRP of £30.
Poppy Williams, group marketing manager at Halewood Artisanal Spirits – the firm behind Whitley Neill – said: “Japanese flavours, from matcha to miso to yuzu and nashi, have seen a real surge in popularity over recent years.”
4. Absolut Hunni
Pernod Ricard has expanded its range of Absolut vodka flavours with the addition of Absolut Hunni.
Offering consumers a honey-flavoured vodka option on shelves now, the new Absolut Hunni has been made using exclusively natural flavourings, with no added sugar.
Available exclusively in Tesco stores now, the new flavoured vodka will roll out across both the off and on-trade in April, with an RRP of £22 per bottle.
The launch will also be supported with a marketing campaign inclusive of media, infuencer and PR campaigns.
