Tasty treats from Scottish firm for St Andrew’s Day include return of A&B Roll
RETAILERS who want to capitalise on consumer desires to celebrate St Andrew’s Day should consider stocking the tinned products made by Grant’s Foods.
For more than 135 years, the company has been synonymous with crafting the finest quality haggis using a traditional Scottish recipe.
Grant’s prides itself on exclusively using premium ingredients to create an authentic “Taste of Scotland”.
Many consumers also enjoy the company’s Stewed Steak and Chicken in White Sauce, among other canned offerings.
Now Grant’s has announced the relaunch of A&B Roll in Asda stores across the country in the first quarter of 2024.
A&B Roll, known for its flavourful blend of spicy corned beef and bacon, is set to regain its prominent position on store shelves as an exclusive offering from Grant’s Foods.
A&B Roll has garnered a dedicated following over the years, thanks to its unique and irresistible flavour profile, claims the Ayrshire-based ambient brand.
Despite a temporary production halt during the pandemic, Grant’s responded to the voices of its loyal customers and has now resumed production of A&B Roll.
While A&B Roll is already available for purchase on the Grant’s Foods website, the company reckon its appearance on the shelves of Asda stores across the country will mark a significant step in the product’s revival.
Grant’s Foods managing director John Fallon said: “We’ve taken heed of our customers’ feedback and are thrilled to reintroduce A&B Roll to the market.
“Among our range of products, including our renowned canned Haggis and Stewed Steak, A&B Roll has remained a perennial favourite. Witnessing its return to store shelves is truly fantastic.”
