Latest Monster offerings meet growing trends

New Monster Juiced Aussie Lemonade Energy drink and Monster Energy Ultra Rosa Zero Sugar
CCEP’s latest Monster launches first came to the energy drinks market in the US.

NEW variants are in store for the Monster brand as Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) said it’s gearing up the energy drinks brand for the year ahead.

This kicks off with two new offerings – Monster Juiced Aussie Lemonade and Monster Ultra Rosa – both of which are available now for RSPs of £1.49 and £1.39 respectively.

Aiming to capitalise on the lemonade flavour – a segment worth £164m according to Nielsen data – CCEP said the Aussie Lemonade variant is a twist on the classic soft drink.

Combining the brand’s familiar energy blend with a burst of citrus flavour, CCEP reckons the new flavour will bring an exciting new flavour to the energy drinks sector.

Meanwhile, Ultra Rosa helps to grow the brand’s zero-sugar range following Nielsen data which reported that Ultra was the number one zero sugar energy drink brand in the UK. Ultra Rosa combines crips red berry flavours with a floral finish, CCEP said.

Pippa Collins, associate director for commercial development at CCEP GB, said: “Monster Juiced Aussie Lemonade has already been popular in the US and Monster Ultra Rosa delivered the second highest rate of sale within the Ultra range in quarter four of last year while only in limited distribution.

“We’re confident the new nationwide arrivals will drive sustained growth for the Monster brand, bringing even more excitement to the energy fixture.”
