THE Healthy Living Programme’s Cook at Home initiative has launched exclusively in a selection of One O One stores and online for home delivery.

The initiative showcases a new healthier recipe every week that can be easily made at home. The aim is to encourage families to cook at home and enjoy the benefits of using fresh ingredients that are readily available.

The National Chef for Scotland, Gary Maclean, was enlisted to film the short step-by-step videos.

One O One says the initiative shows its commitment to growing the selection of fresh, chilled and frozen foods as well as store cupboard staples available in-store and online.

“This is a great opportunity for us to support our local communities and promote healthier eating habits,” said Graeme Thomson, buying and merchandising manager at One O One.

Gillian Edgar, field manager with the Healthy Living Programme, added: “Due to the number of fresh lines coming into stores, consumers are able, more than ever, to cook a meal from scratch, so why not make it a healthier choice?”
