THE Federation of Independent Retailers (NFRN) has shown its support for Reach PLC’s pro rata terms as the Daily Record’s prices increase.
As of Monday 25 October, the price of the weekday edition of the Daily Record will increase by 5p to a total 95p with the retail profit per copy sold also increasing pro rata to 19p.
From 30 October, the Saturday edition increased to £1.50 with the retail profit rising pro rata to 30p.
Ferhan Ashiq, Scottish president for NFRN, said: “It is pleasing to see that Reach recognises the efforts of independent retailers.”
