INTERNATIONAL Beverage Holdings is gearing up for the festive period by rolling out a new Christmas gin pack.
Scottish gin brand Caorunn will get the tinsel treatment this year, through the return of its Christmas gift tube.
The pack, debuted last Christmas, features illustrations of the gin production process.
Peter Powell, area sales director at International beverage Holdings reckons the pack provides a clear point of difference for the brand and he has suggested spirits could go particularly well in c-stores this Christmas.
“Alongside e-commerce, local retail has been in a strong position during the pandemic as people have become more reliant on shopping local during lockdown.
“As we move into the festive season, there will continue to be a lot of uncertainty in retail as we respond to ongoing Covid fluctuations.
“That makes it hard to predict how people will shop this Christmas and if the new habits we’ve seen emerging over lockdown will stick.
“However local retailers again have an advantage and an opportunity to really up their gifting game. Unlike big retail, convenience stores can be more agile and can respond quickly to local changes.”
