A NEW Mentos format will roll out this month as brand owner Perfetti van Melle (PVM) looks to attract on-the-go shoppers.
Available in a resealable bottle, the new Chewy & Fresh range has launched with two flavours: Lemon Mint, and Peppermint.
Both flavours are packed in bottles containing 90 pieces and are priced at an RRP of £1.70.
The launch of Mentos Chewy & Fresh is being supported by social media activity, which is geared towards a younger audience.
Mark Roberts, trade marketing manager at PVM said: “Refreshment is under pressure to stand up against traditional sugar confectionery – the category needs some excitement injected back into it.
“At PVM we’re actively driving this through a range of new innovation across our brand portfolio.
“Mentos Chewy & Fresh is the first bite-size chewy mint, great for on-the-go and creating fresh connections.”
