AWARD recipients were not the only winners at the Scottish Grocer Awards 2019, as generous guests donated in excess of £2,400 to Grocery-Aid through a prize raffle on the night.
GroceryAid chief executive Steve Barnes and Scottish Grocer advertising manager Emily Sanderson were on hand to select the lucky winners, with a host of enviable prizes up for grabs.
Winners on the night walked away with a case of Champagne, a Sony SRS-XB30 Portable Wireless Speaker, Google Chromecast, two tickets to see Olly Murs at the SSE Hydro in the News Scotland hospitality suite, and the grand prize of gift vouchers to the value of £300 for a stay at the Fairmont St Andrews Hotel.
Money raised from the charity raffle will be used to support GroceryAid’s charitable endeavours.
• GroceryAid is a national charity that helps people across the whole grocery industry – from the largest factory, through the supply chain, to the smallest store.
The charity offers a helping hand to those needing emotional, financial or practical support.
