MEAT-free products should take pride of place in c-store FTG chillers, Quorn has suggested.
The firm, which boasts an on-the-go snacking range that includes meat-free sausage rolls, savoury eggs, and cocktail sausages, reckons meat free products are purchased by over 9m UK shoppers, 73% of whom are non-vegetarians.
Julian Cooke, head of UK category management at Quorn said: “Today shoppers are looking for quality, convenience and, in many cases, healthier options.”
