AG Barr launches TV campaign for no added sugar variant
SCOTTISH Irn-Bru fans are picking up a whole host of talents and superpowers as part of a new ad for Irn-Bru Xtra.
The new ad, which debuted during the final of Britain’s Got Talent, shows Irn-Bru Xtra drinkers enjoying new talents bestowed upon them by the soft drink and is scheduled to air during programmes including Gogglebox, Family Guy, 8 out of 10 Cats, and Love Island.
Irn-Bru Xtra first hit shelves in July 2016, rolling out as a no added sugar alternative to Irn-Bru. The launch comes ahead of the implementation of a levy on added sugar in soft drinks, however AG Barr said it developed Irn-Bru Xtra to meet consumer demand for lower calorie, lower sugar soft drinks.
Irn-Bru Xtra is available in a full range of pack sizes, and can be purchased through all routes to market including convenience channel wholesalers and cash and carries.
