NICK Read, new boss of retailer-owned wholesaler and symbol operation Nisa, has made sweeping chages to top management, less than a month after he moved into the job.
The changes came as a damning report that the company commissioned from Lord Myners described governance at the group as uninformed, confused and weak, after a period that included departures from the board of directors and stories of data leaks.
Read announced that new trading director would be Stewart Smith who joins from Tesco. Robin Brown, formerly of Morrisons, has become interim finance director.
Nisa has parted company with finance director Simon Webster, IT director Wayne Swallow and format and development director Raj Krishan.
