IT’S often argued that young adults are especially enthusiastic about the launch of new or products and that c-stores should make space on shelves for the latest innovations.
But Emma Heath, marketing controller at Sourz, reckons if retailers really want to keep on top of what these customers want, they should keep up with the new trends in the on-trade.
“As young adult consumers of legal drinking age enjoy cocktails in the on-trade, they look to recreate these at home with their friends,” she said. “It definitely pays for the off-trade to be listening to the popular choices from the on-trade and stock such cocktail ingredients. ”
Two new cocktails she highlighted were Sourz Raspberry with Prosecco and Sourz Rainbow Ice with bitter lemon and a wedge of lime over ice.
