MONDELEZ International has found a way to breath some life into its latest campaign for Halls – miniature mustachioed polar bears.
The brand’s new 20-second TV ad features a motorcyclist, who exhales a cloud of polar bears with moustaches after popping a Halls sweet in his mouth.
Halls is, says Mondelez, the leading medicated confectionery brand in the UK, according to Nielsen figures – worth £31.4m and holding a 32.6 % market share.
The new TV ad is just one part of a campaign for the brand running through 2015, which will also be supported by video on demand ads, out-of-home ads, digital and social media, featuring the tag-line ‘What are you breathing?’.
Elena Mallo, senior brand manager for Halls, said: “It’s humorous and engaging, and we think it’s going to get Halls to the top of consumers’ minds at a key period in the year.”
Halls is also launching a new range of sweets in three fruit flavours (strawberry, assorted citrus and cherry) in a flip-top box. Packs are priced at 51p each.
