Oven cleaner’s £1m message


OVEN Pride aims to make the most of a predicted post-festive oven-cleaning binge with a £1m marketing push. The brand – the UK’s top seller according to Kantar Worldpanel – will run its ‘Kitchen Nightmares’ ad until the end of this month. Manufacturer McBride saw strong sales figures during its 2013/2014 advertising campaign, with weekly sales up an average of 36% according to Kantar.
Danielle Dransfield, brand marketing manager, commented: “We recorded a notable increase in sales of Oven Pride around Christmas and New Year 12 months ago.”
