NISA Retail has joined forces with the Kellogg Company to help people across the UK get a decent breakfast.
The symbol store firm has partnered with the breakfast cereal maker to bring its Help Give A Child A Breakfast campaign to local communities. Nisa stores will donate funds to school breakfast clubs and foodbanks.
The cereals firm is donating £5,000 through Nisa members and their Making A Difference Locally charity pots. The money will be awarded to 25 retailers who purchase the most Kellogg’s Special packs with the ‘Buy a Box = Give a Bowl’ logo from August 2014 to October 2014.
Kate Carroll, MADL brand manager, said: “Every day in the UK one in seven children goes to school without breakfast, which is the most important meal of the day.
“This collaboration will help tackle these problems by putting the donations and the retailer truly in the heart of the community.”
Ed Jones, shopper marketing manager at Kellogg’s, said: “We’re really proud of what we have achieved and we’re pleased to be working with Nisa on our annual ‘Help Give a Child a Breakfast’ campaign.
“Together we can make a huge difference to local communities through these donations, to ensure children get the best possible start to the day.”
