Breakfast-to-go trend on a roll

WITH Mintel finding that more than a quarter of consumers eat breakfast away from home at least once a week, Cuisine de France has introduced a hot breakfast roll that can be defrosted overnight and then heated in store.
There are two varieties, sausage or bacon, both in highly-glazed white baps.
The company also has two new doughnuts. Lemon crème is a ball doughnut with a white chocolate-flavoured coating, finished with lemon sugar nibs. Strawberry crème is a ring doughnut with a sweet strawberry filling, topped with a white chocolate flavoured coating and finished with strawberry flavoured pieces.
