McVitie’s brings two beloved brands together in one pack

GLOBAL snacks firm pladis has brought together two icons from McVitie’s extensive library of treats with the launch of the new McVitie’s Digestives Jaffa Cakes flavour.
Bringing the Jaffa Cakes brand into the biscuits category, as pladis claims the brand has always been a cake, the new limited edition McVitie’s Digestives Jaffa Cakes has been developed to capitalise on the never-ending debate on whether Jaffa Cakes are indeed cakes or a biscuit.
Each biscuit features the classic McVitie’s Digestive on the base with a Jaffa Cake flavoured layer that is then topped with chocolate.
Available from Sainsbury’s stores now, the new limited edition biscuits will roll out across grocery, wholesale and convenience channels from 29 June with an RRP of £2.35 per pack.
