Breakfast is sorted across Scottish Morrisons stores

GLASWEGIAN bakery brand McGhee’s Family Bakers has expanded its range across Scottish Morrisons stores as its Soft Morning Rolls packs hit shelves across the country.
Available across Scottish Morrisons stores nationwide, the six-packs of the beloved bap can also be found alongside the brand’s four-packs of Sourdough Morning Rolls across the supermarket’s shelves.
Aisling McGhee, commercial director at McGhee’s, said: “Celebrating 90 years of baking tradition is a milestone we’re incredibly proud of, and taking our beloved soft morning rolls and sourdough into Morrisons stores across Scotland is the perfect way to share our passion with even more shoppers.
“Our rolls have been a favourite in Glasgow for decades, and it’s fantastic to see them reaching homes and breakfast tables throughout the country.”
The new nationwide listing comes after a trial period in 23 Morrisons stores across Glasgow where the family bakery saw strong success for the six-pack and reported it saw the firm’s highest volume growth product sales in these stores.
It’s already been a strong year for the McGhee’s brand, which is celebrating its 90th anniversary in 2026, with the introduction of its new Chocolate Old School Cakes to bakery aisles across the country and the strengthening of its senior leadership teams.
April Pollock, buying manager at Morrisons, said: “We’re delighted to welcome McGhee’s iconic soft morning rolls and sourdough to Morrisons stores across Scotland. Our customers love quality, locally loved products, and expanding the availability of these much-loved bakery favourites is a great way to bring a taste of Glasgow’s baking heritage to shoppers across the country.”
