INDEPENDENT bottling firm Tailored Spirits Co. has recorded its strongest year to date in 2025 with plans to further capitalise on demand for bespoke whisky.

The Leith-based company has said that awareness of private-client whisky bottling experiences has grown on a global scale recently and the firms continued strength within this market has bolstered this success.

Adam Harding, co-founder and head of spirits, sales and strategy at Tailored Spirits, said: “We’re seeing green shoots of hope in whisky. While parts of the market have softened, interest in private-client bottlings remains strong.

“People don’t just want to buy whisky now – they want to be involved in creating something unique.”

Tailored Spirits Co. has positioned itself as an “experience-led whisky partner” to help bring a point of difference to the market and make it clear to clients that they will work hand-in-hand throughout the creative and production process.

Following its strongest year to date, Tailored Spirits has announced its plans to expand on its team throughout 2026 and build on the strong hires that joined the company last year. This saw the firm welcome Rachel MacRae to the project management and delivery team, creative specialist Hannah Sneddon and, most recently, Ciara Hutchison Reid as business development and private client manager.

Carl Johnstone, co-founder (commercial & operations), said: “We’re moving from being seen as a start-up to an established luxury player. The interest we’re seeing internationally shows that premium Scotch stills holds strong appeal, particularly when it offers a personal story and experience.”
