CCEP unveils 500ml cans in Premier League promo

DRINKS giant Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) has unveiled a new 500ml can format as part of its partnership with the Premier League.
Dubbed the new ‘Supercan’ format, the new 500ml format will run across Coca-Cola Original Taste, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar and Diet Coke drink variants as the brand looks to unlock incremental growth in the soft drinks space.
Promotional packs are now available nationwide until 4 May. After the promotion ends, the 500ml can will continue as part of Coca-Cola’s core range, further strengthening its on-the-go portfolio with consumers.
Each 500ml can comes with an RRP of £1.95 and features a range of football and Premier League inspired designs across the can to improve further standout across the shelves. All ‘Supercans’ also include a QR code which will invite shoppers to access a series of football-themed challenges hosted on a dedicated Coca-Cola microsite.
New challenges on this microsite will also drop on a monthly basis during the promotion and cover everything from stadium and kit knowledge to iconic moments from the Premier League history.
Once-in-a-lifetime prizes will be up for grabs throughout the campaign as well, including hospitality tickets to the final match of the season, VIP stadium tours, watching the game with a club legend, playing on the pitch and meeting a current player.
The campaign is also backed by a £2.5million investment spanning across social media, influencer partnerships, PR and shopper activations.
