Charities benefit from convenience store ‘Bosses’

DRINKS giant Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) has built on its ‘The Bosses’ convenience channel campaign with a donation of £120,000 to six charities.
Chosen by the six ‘Bosses’ that featured in CCEP’s campaign, each retailer who took part in the campaign has received a £20,000 fund to allocate to up to two charities that hold a personal significance and deliver meaningful support within their local areas.
In Edinburgh, Sophie Williams, and her parents Dennis and Linda, directed their donation to a local service supporting vulnerable people through companionship, social activities and essential assistance.
This marks the next chapter for ‘The Bosses’ campaign and continues to connect local communities directly with convenience store retailers and underlines CCEP’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the communities who have supported the firm across its 125-year presence in Great Britain.
Sophie was chosen along with five other retailers across the UK to take part in the CCEP campaign earlier this year, shining a spotlight on her time working with her parents at Premier Broadway Convenience Store in the Oxgangs area of Edinburgh.
Stephen Moorhouse, general manager at CCEP GB, said: “The retailers featured in ‘The Bosses’ are extraordinary individuals who give so much to the people around them.
“We’re proud to work closely with convenience retailers across Great Britain, and these donations reflect our continued commitment to supporting the people and places at the heart of their communities.”
