Delice de France makes a seasonal twist in the bakery aisle

Apple Pie and Chocolate Orange doughnuts are joined by a trio of muffins – Spiced Stollen, Gingerbread and Cranberry & Orange varieties – in Delice de France’s new range.

The bakery brand is launching five new products with a Christmassy vibe

Delice de France has unveiled its winter range of limited-edition sweet and savoury products, reimagining some seasonal favourites to let retailers make the most out of seasonal opportunities this Christmas.

This year’s range features creative twists that reinvents seasonal favourites. Two doughnuts – in Apple Pie and Chocolate Orange flavours, and a trio of muffins – in Spiced Stollen, Gingerbread and Cranberry & Orange varieties – capture seasonal flavour trends in a treat that can be enjoyed conveniently on the go.

Last year, the brand’s Stollen and Gingerbread Muffins were a sell-out, so the company has increased stock levels for this year.

Outlets will also be able to offer their shoppers Shortcrust Mince Crowns, Puff Lattice Mince Pies and a Rich Fruit Cake, containing cherries soaked in sherry and topped with marzipan and decorative icing.

The range includes two hearty savoury options – a Christmas Cracker Roll, which is a puff pastry roll generously filled with succulent pork, tender turkey, tangy cranberries, and a savoury seasonal stuffing, and the return of its Pigs in Blankets Slice.

“We’d advise outlets to consider adding a mixed case of doughnuts, muffins or mince pies as part of their retail offering to disrupt and tempt shoppers this winter,” said Emma Woodcock, Delice de France category manager.

Delice de France will be supporting its customers with promotions on festive bestsellers in bread, patisserie, viennoiserie and sweet bakery, and will see the company reduce prices on both core favourites and recent innovations.
