Speaking on the evening, Simon Hannah, chief executive officer at JW Filshill, said: “This is an incredible amount of money and we have had the pleasure of spending time with representatives from across these charities to understand the impact and support the money raised will have for so many people across Scotland.

“It’s quite humbling, everyone here tonight has, in some form, a connection to the charities represented here and it gives us great pleasure collectively, for the Filshill family, our suppliers, our customers, our staff and our community, to be able to donate a huge amount of money for these charities.”
