Limited edition Shiraz rolls out in Halloween packaging

PREMIUM shiraz brand Barossa Ink Shiraz from Ink by Grant Burge has rolled out a “wickedly irresistible” limited edition bottle of its wine in time for Halloween.
Available on shelves from mid-September, the new Barossa Blood Ink Shiraz bottle features a striking new front and back label that features red splatters in a blood-style in a bid to capture consumers attention.
Barossa Blood Ink Shiraz will be on the shelves across Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Asda and Waitrose stores from mid-September, helping retailers to get adult consumers into the Halloween spirit early during the autumn months.
Halloween is a popular occasion for adults in the UK as well, as Statista data from 2024 found that Brits spent approximately £775million during the season that year.
The new Barossa Blood Ink Shiraz comes with an RRP of £12 per bottle.
Tom Smith, marketing and category director at Vinarchy – parent firm to Ink by Grant Burge, said: “Ink by Grant Burge was conceived from a challenge to create the most bold and impactful wines possible.
“The results were intensely opulent wines from the heart of the Barossa, with colour so dark, they were almost ink.
“This Halloween, however, we think of the liquid is so spine-chillingly deep red, it looks more like blood, so we are rolling out this limited-edition revamp to capture shoppers’ imaginations and drive sales for our retail partners.”
