GLOBAL snacking firm pladis has relaunched its retailer support platform Better Biscuits to help empower store owners and drive up sales.

The updated website offers convenience retailers a range of insights, tool and support to help boost up sales within the biscuits category with expert advice, planograms, exclusive rewards, treat trials and more.

Paul Burns, head of impulse performance & planning at pladis UK&I, said: “Creating the perfect range of biscuits and snacks in-store can be challenging. Our carefully designed planograms cater for all different store types with impartial advice that includes all the best-loved brands, not just ours.

“Simple, accessible and easy to replicate, our tailored blueprints help independent convenience owners to quickly finesse their snacking fixtures – and start cashing in on the benefits.”

Retailers can join Better Biscuits now by visiting the website and benefit alongside a UK-wide network of independent store owners. Further to this, retailers can also claim a free case of “shoppers favourites” stock when they sign up.

The relaunched website also follows on from pladis’ latest campaign to mark the 100th anniversary of the McVitie’s Chocolate Digestive, offering a sleuth of POS and marketing products to help shout out about the celebration along with the consumer competition.

Burns said: “As a Better Biscuits member, independent convenience retailers get access to our latest POS kits, free of charge, every 30 days.

“Our bespoke kits include professional designed posters, shelf talkers and more, providing hassle-free tools to let shoppers know about the hottest new trends and offers in biscuits and snacks.

“We’re very excited to bring Better Biscuits to the UK’s independent convenience store network, and to become a partner helping to drive biscuit and snack sales and increase profits.”
