Sparkling flavoured water brand Sparkling Ice has expanded its range of flavours with the return of its Black Raspberry variant to store shelves.

UK drinks distributor Red Star Brands has announced its latest UK listing with the relaunch of Sparkling Ice Black Raspberry to the maket.

Offering consumers a sparkling flavoured water option with no added sugar, Sparkling Ice Black Raspberry has been made using natural fruit flavours and carbonated water with some added functional benefits including vitamins B6 and B12 and antioxidants.

The Black Raspberry variant delivers a sweet, tart and refreshing drink, says Red Star Brands, and with only 12 calories per bottle for a healthier hydration option.

The returning sparkling flavoured water will hit Boots shelves across the UK from May with an RSP of £1.60 per bottle.

Black Raspberry marks the sixth flavour variant in the Sparkling Ice line-up which consists of Strawberry Watermelon, Kiwi Strawberry, Orange Mango, Pink Grapefruit and Cloudy Lemonade.

The returning variant will also be supported by the high profile ‘Anything But Subtle’ marketing campaign which will include PoS materials for retailers as well as a presence across social media sites.

Clark McIlroy, managing director at Red Star Brands, said: “We’re seeing increased consumer interest in fruity flavoured fizzy water which is being fuelled by a strong emphasis on both functional health and taste.

“The Sparkling Ice flavours all offer a healthier option to conventional sugar-filled fizzy drinks.

“Whether it’s the tang of Black Raspberry, the juicy sweetness of strawberry or the zing of citrus fruits, these flavours take centre stage and deliver the perfect balance between great taste and reduced calorie content.”
