Egg-citing NPD roll out from confectionery giant

CONFECTIONERY firm Nestlé Confectionery has announced host of new treats for the Easter season 2025.
Fans of Nestlé’s ice cream flavour combinations are in luck for the season this year as the 2024 flavour developments have rolled into the Easter range.
First up, the Milkybar brand has introduced its new Milkybar Raspberry Ripple Ice Cream Giant Egg which features a mix of a half white chocolate shell and a half raspberry flavour shell and also includes a Milkybar Raspberry Ripple Sharing Bag, filled with marbled white chocolate and pink raspberry pieces. This 236 Giant Egg comes with an RRP of £7.49.
Further from the Nestlé freezer, Aero Melts Neapolitan Ice Cream Giant Egg joins the line-up which combines the traditional flavours of Neapolitan ice cream of strawberry, vanilla and chocolate in a chocolate egg shell and also comes with an Aero Neapolitan Sharing Bag containing bubbly milk chocolate, strawberry and vanilla flavour melts. This also comes with an RRP of £7.49.
As for the KitKat brand, there are two new products for consumers to sink their teeth into this year. For the shell eggs format, Nestlé has introduced the indulgent KitKat Chunky Chocolate Brownie Crunch Incredible Egg.
Each egg features a smooth brownie flavoured milk chocolate shell with crunchy biscuit pieces and comes with two KitKat Chunky Double Chocolate Brownie bars. This comes with an RRP of £13.
And to help grow the kids’ Easter egg hunt for this year, KitKat has also launched a new Mini Egg Sharing Bag which features individually wrapped chocolate eggs filled with crunchy pieces of KitKat wafer and has an RRP of £1.35 per pack.
Additionally, the KitKat Easter Egg Hunt pack will also make its return for 2025 which includes eight milk chocolate Easter eggs made that also feature pieces of KitKat wafer. Both the Smarties brand and Milkybar brand will also have similar packs.
Rowntree’s has also joined in on the fun once again this year as the Rowntree’s Random’s Egg returns and brings together Nestlé chocolate with the brand in a chocolate shell with marshmallow pieces and Rowntree’s fruity flavoured sweets, along with a sharing bag of Rowntree’s Randoms.

And, new for 2025, Rowntree’s has introduced a new sharing bar with the Jelly-tastic Mini Egg Bar. This is a 100g tablet bar that includes pieces of fruity jelly pieces to help create a multi-textured treat for Easter, with an RRP of £1.50.
And for a more premium offer this year, the After Eight Premium Egg has also made a return, with a rich mint flavoured dark chocolate shell and a pack of signature After Eight mint chocolate thins.
