Smokehead Whisky is out to keep seasonal illness at bay over the Halloween period with its own Hot Toddy cocktail recipe, helping to drive up sales of the whisky.

WHETHER its for the warming feeling of a seasonal drink or to keep the dreaded tickle of a sore throat at bay, the winter always calls for a round of hot toddies to help out.

Islay single malt whisky brand Smokehead reckons its own Hot Toddy recipe will help to ensure there are no tricks this Halloween and help to ensure no one misses out on the festivities this year.

Available at £40 RRP in a 700ml bottle, Smokehead Whisky – Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky 40% ABV offers consumers a smoky finish in their whisky choice to help balance the sweetness that comes from a hot toddy.

Smokehead Hot Toddy

Ingredients:
• 50ml Smokehead Original
• 1.5 teaspoons brown sugar
• Four dashes pineapple bitters
• 25ml Lime cordial
• Garnish with dried pineapple and a lemon twist

Method:
• Add 50ml Smokehead Original to a mug
• Add four dashes of bitters and 25ml of lime cordial
• Top up with 150ml hot water and garnish with dried pineapple and lemon
