CONFECTIONERY wholesaler Hancocks has unveiled its new sweets range for the Christmas season 2024.

Aiming to add in some extra novelty options to the festive range this year, Hancocks has rolled out a range of themed sweets from a range of customer-favourite brands including Bonds of London, Candy Realms and Elves Behavin’ Badly.

Rolling out on gifting options, the Bonds of London range offers a selection of seasonal candy cups with a new launch for 2024 in its new Snowflakes cup. Offering consumers a cup filled with raspberry and vanilla sugar-coated snowflake jelly sweets, the new candy cup joins the existing range which includes Bonds Reindeer Faces and Winter Wonderland Candy Cups.

Looking to offer more of a self-treat option, Hancocks has also rolled out new additions from the Candy Realms Mallow Pops range.

This year, Candy Realms has introduced its new Merry Mix Candy Cup to its range as well as new Christmas lollies. The Merry Mix Candy Cup offers a range of seasonal treats and is filled with Christmas Tree Mallows, Candy Stars and Green and Red Sugared Candy Canes.

Meanwhile, the new Festive Mallow Pops, which Hancocks says will be ideal for kids with extra pocket money during the festive season, feature strawberry and sugar coated marshmallow lollies in novelty shapes including Santa Claus, Reindeer, a Snowman and a Christmas Tree.

Finally, the wholesaler has also introduced some new lines to the World of Sweets range with its new partnership with Elves Behavin’ Badly.

Known best for its Naughty Elf on the Shelf decoration, the Elves Behavin’ Badly brand has rolled out a new range of festive treats including The Naughty Elf Mix, the Giant Gummy Elfie as well as new Elfie Tongue Painters Bag.

The Naughty Elf Mix is a candy cup fulled with sugar-coated strawberry-vanilla and apple-vanilla flavour mallows, fruit flavour liquorice and crème candy canes, caramel and vanilla flavour gummy elves and fruit flavour jelly candy canes.

Meanwhile, the most novel option from the Elves Behavin’ Badly range, the Giant Gummy Elfie is a giant strawberry flavour gummy in the shape of Elfie that could be an ideal novelty token gift or stocking fillers, says Hancocks.

And the new Elfie Tongue Painters Bag provides a self-treat or sharing product option of gummies that come in blackberry, raspberry, lemon or orange flavoured gummies that add in an extra bit of fun as each one paints consumers’ tongues blue.

Kathryn Hague, head of marketing at Hancocks, said: “We are very excited to share our new Christmas range with retailers and customers.

“Christmas is an important time for retailers, bringing in an increased number of customers looking for seasonal treats and gifting options.

“With confectionery being one of the highest performing categories during Christmas, it’s important for retailers to stock up on seasonal treats customers can use as stocking fillers, token gifts or share with their family and friends over the holidays.

“Creating eye-catching seasonal displays, stocking up early and offering customers new and exciting Christmas products will help retailers make the most of the busy shopping season.”
