RETAIL technology firm Jisp has marked the three year anniversary of its Scan & Save app with high praise from retailers who make use of the app’s services.

Since its launch in 2021, Scan & Save has earned retailers almost £6million, says Jisp, while shoppers have also managed to save over £2.2million during that time. Total scans of the app’s AR vouchers also broke through the 5million mark, with redemptions leading to sales topping 4million.

And the number of registered Scan & Save stores also hit 1,000 for the first time since launch as the service continues to bring in new retailers all the time.

Alex Rimmer, head of marketing and communications at Jisp, said: “We’re delighted to celebrate our three-year anniversary with some stunning Scan & Save performance statistics which shows significant progress and supports the position that retailers and shoppers alike are looking for the loyalty rewards platform like this provide.”

Marking the third year of the app running, Jisp has collected responses from retailers across the UK to highlight the benefits of Scan & Save to the store.

Kevin Polley, operations manager at Kash Retail, said: “Scan & Save has been a massive success across our store estate and has helped to deliver great results in terms of increased sales, footfall and loyalty.”

Meanwhile, other retailers have noted the benefit to footfall that they have seen since introducing the app in store, especially as many consumers continue to struggle with the ongoing cost-of-living crisis.

Jav Iqbal, retailer at Nisa Feltham Road, said: “Since signing up for Scan & Save, we’re seen increased sales and footfall in store. It’s so simple and easy to use, once customers have downloaded the app they’re coming in more and more regularly to make savings and earn loyalty points.

“This is great for our customers’ pockets and for us, as we build up trust in the community while gaining more sales. It’s a win-win for both parties.”

Rimmer added: “The positive and supportive feedback from our retailers is testament to the impact Scan & Save can have on convenience retail businesses, and we’re very proud of the collaborative working relationship we share with them.”
