Orange liqueur brand twists in premium cocktails
PREMIUM orange liqueur brand Cointreau has twisted in a new line of cocktail ready-to-drink (RTD) options to take advantage of the rising popularity of the format.
Developed with a new generation of consumers in mind, Cointreau Cocktail Twists offers a fresh way to enjoy craft cocktails made using the French orange liqueur.
The Cointreau Cocktail Twists will feature two unique recipes including a reinvented Lime Daiquiri as well as a fresh take on the classic Cosmopolitan with its new Berry Cosmo. Each serve comes in a 200ml bottle with ABVs of 15%.
Both cocktail serves have been developed by Cointreau’s master distiller Carole Quinton who has said she looked to challenge herself with the range’s production.
Quinton said: “In creating these RTD cocktails, I got to blend my distilling expertise with the craft of mixology. It was exciting to explore the nuances of different flavours and figure our fresh ways for people to enjoy Cointreau.”
The Lime Daiquiri variant brings together the Cointreau liqueur with a premium rum, lime peel distillate and lime juice concentrate. Meanwhile, the Berry Cosmo brings a vibrant twist to the traditional serve with cranberry and lemon juice concentrates and hibiscus extracts, all of which were individually selected.
The new variants are available for purchase now and are currently exclusive to Waitrose stores.
Both are made in the original Cointreau distillery in Angers, France and are suitable for vegans and contain no artificial colours or flavours.
