Keep milkshakes flowing in colder weather
SELF-SERVE milkshake brand f’real has launched a new variant in time for the autumn months with its new Chocolate Orange flavour.
Aiming to bridge the gap between summer and autumn to help milkshake sales continue into the colder weather, the new Chocolate Orange variant is available now across convenience and wholesale channels.
The brand said the new variant will allow consumers to make the most out of the any late summer sun whilst also offering a flavour that is more associated with the autumn months.
Further to this, Kantar data has revealed that Belgian Chocolate and Orange has been the fastest growing flavour within the sweet bakery category, having risen at a rate of 291.7% in the year to April.
f’real reckons the new launch will be able to entice its key Gen Z audience of consumers alongside wider demographics with the timeless appeal of the chocolate orange taste.
This new launch marks the second chocolate based flavour from f’real this year after the milkshake brand teamed up with Nestlé chocolate brand Rolo.
Dez Paterson, commercial director at f’real UK, said: “The team at f’real is thrilled to introduce our new Chocolate Orange milkshake to UK consumers to treat themselves this autumn.
“Adding the decadent taste of Chocolate Orange to f’real’s ever-expanding portfolio will captivate the 92% of consumers who purchase milkshakes for taste or enjoyment.
“With over 113mullion milkshakes sold through the UK in 2023, f’real Chocolate Orange enters the market to satiate demand for flavoursome, indulgent milkshake treats.
“We encourage retailer to make the most of this timelessly tempting new flavour to carry milkshake sales into the coming season.”
