Offering gut health with a burst of fruit
GUT health drinks brand Yakult has embraced a fruity new flavour with the launch of its new Yakult Plus Peach drink.
Set to launch from 1 September, the new fermented milk drink from Yakult brings all the additional health benefits the brand offers while bursting with a “juicy peach” flavour.
Each bottle contains billions of Lactobacillus (L. casei) Shirota bacteria which are friendly bacteria that is commonly found in people’s digestive tract and help to aid digestion for people and support the body to absorb better nutrients.
On top of this, the bacteria are naturally rich in vitamin C, which supports immunity and helps to lower fatigue, and also contain fibre that feeds the gut bacteria and sustain them within the body.
Further to this, Yakult Plus Peach is suitable for vegetarians, gluten-free and contains 70% less sugar and 33% fewer calories in comparison to Yakult Original.
The new launch comes in an eight by 65ml bottle pack format, standing out on shelf complete with new recyclable cardboard packaging, with an RRP of £3.70.
To help support the launch, Yakult is set to roll out new marketing materials for Peach including a presence on broadcast video-on-demand, social media and influencer activity as well as via PR channels to help engage customers with the new launch.
