MARS Chocolate Drinks & Treats (MCD&T) is set to bring in some extra colour and fun to the cookies selection with its new Cookies with Chocolate M&M’s Minis.

Coming off the back of the launch of M&M’s Minis to the UK market, the new cookies have been packed with M&M’s Mini to ensure every bite is full of crunch, chocolate and colour, says MCD&T.

Cookies with M&M’s Mini is available now across both grocery and convenience channels coming in both a plain 180g pack as well as a price-marked 144g pack. The RRP for the plain pack sits at £1.90 while the price-marked comes at £1.99.

MCD&T reckons the new launch will help to build appeal for the cookies section with more younger shoppers across retail.

Kantar data has revealed that 63% of big cookies purchases are made by “Empty Nesters and Retired” consumers whereas M&M’s are typically purchased by considerably younger shoppers with 60% being purchased by young families.

Michelle Frost, general manager at MCD&T, said: “We anticipate that the launch of Cookies with Chocolate M&M’s Minis will attract a new younger shopper to the cookie aisle.

“We believe that we have an enticing consumer proposition, with M&M’s being the biggest chocolate brand globally, a fantastic tasting product and eye-catching packaging.”
