Swizzels has launched the latest variant in its Drumstick Squashies range with the new Strawberry & Cream flavour, available in UK stores now.

BRITISH sweet manufacturer Swizzels has announced the national rollout of the latest flavour of its Drumstick Squashies brand with the new Strawberry & Cream flavour.

Available now to retailers across the UK, the new launch aims to support the increased consumer demand for new flavours from the popular brand, according to Swizzels.

Aiming to capture sales from sharing opportunities or as a self-treat occasion with shoppers, the 120g bags come in both price-marked – at £1.15 – and plain formats with an RSP of also £1.15.

The new Drumstick Squashies comes in both PMP and plain packs.

The Squashies brand has continued to perform strongly with consumers across the nation, with the brand now sitting at a worth of £52.5million in value sales, according to Circana Total Market data.

Further to this, Circana also found Drumstick Squashies to be the number one sugar confectionery hanging bag in the market.

The new Strawberry & Cream flavour joins the already strong range of variants under the Drumstick Squashies brand including Drumstick Original, Bubblegum, Sour Cherry & Apple and Banana & Blueberry, all of which have become essential stock in retailers’ sweets aisles, says Swizzels.
