Building the Bitter boom across the off-trade
BRITISH premium bitters brand The Bitter Club has made its debut to the UK’s off-trade market with the launch of three variants.
Crafted using ingredients that have only been sourced from across the UK, the bitters offer an eye-catching look on shelf with its fragrance-inspired dropper bottles.
Available in three flavours including Grapefruit & Elderberry, Cinnamon & Orange and Hibiscus & Rose, the three offer a simplistic way to elevate at-home cocktails for consumers spending the evening in and looking for a way to make it extra special.
Suggested by The Bitter Club, the Grapfruit & Elderberry is designed to match up with white spirits and tonic water serves such as the Gin & Tonic or even as a low-alcohol alternative to the night.
The Hibiscus & Rose draws on two fragrant flavours to add in a touch of sweetness to the drinks whereas the Cinnamon & Orange offers a warmth and spice to pair up with whisky or bourbon based cocktails.
Each flavour comes in a 100ml bottle with a dropper attached for a price of £15 each. All three are available for purchase from The Bitter Club’s website or Amazon.
The new launch follows on from a boom in the bitters category as more consumers begin to see the benefits of the drinks, helping to add flavour and depth to cocktails and, as The Bitter Club puts it, begin to be seen as “the spice rack of the drinks world”.
Ro Murray, founder of The Bitter Club, said: “We believe that every drink should be an experience to savour, which is why we’ve created bitters of unparalleled quality.
“Our commitment to using only the finest natural ingredients ensures that each drop of our bitters can enhance the flavour profile of any pour – alcoholic or not.
“As the ‘spice rack’ for cocktails, The Bitter Club hopes to add depth of flavour and balance to both the simplest and most complex of serves.”
