Bizzi energy drinks are making their way to the UK as US entrepreneur Ashley Verma aims to drive up the availability for collagen food and drink products in the market.

NEW functional and energy brand Bizzi has launched into the soft drinks category boasting an industry first of a drink that contains both caffeine and collagen.

Available online from the Bizzi store or from Amazon, the three varieties include a Signature Cold Brew Coffee Blend, a Vanilla & Turmeric drink and a Ceremonial Grade Matcha RTD as the brand is set to grab a slice of the booming RTD coffee market.

Each drink is infused with 10g of collagen, along with vitamin C and zinc, as more consumers continue to seek food and drink products that come with additional health benefits. Bizzi also comes with an RRP of £2.50 per can.

Collagen is a structural protein that can help to improve people’s skin tissue as well as their immune response.

Collagen products have also seen a surge in popularity across the UK, according to Bizzi with Predence Research reporting that the subcategory is forecast to reach a worth of £18.3billion by 2032.

The trend also appears to be a male-dominated one as well with Predence noting that searches for ‘collagen benefits for men’ had risen by 350% during a 12 month period in the UK.

Founded by US entrepreneur Ashley Verma – best known for her fitness boutique gym Define London as well as stints in major theatre production of Cats and Chicago – Verma will officially launch the new product as part of the UK Food & Drink Expo in Birmingham at the end of April.

Verma said: “I can’t wait for people to experience Bizzi’s cold brew and matcha RTDs and bring this collagen and coffee first to the UK market.

“As a self-confessed coffee lover, I designed Bizzi to not only enrich busy lifestyles and support wellness but to also taste absolutely fantastic.

“The UK drinks market is a hugely dynamic and ever-changing landscape and I believe that Bizzi fits beautifully into what consumers are looking for.”
