Arctic Coffee has brought a double cool blast to the chillers with the launch of two new coffee variants made popular in coffee shops to retail.

INDEPENDENT chilled coffee brand Arctic Coffee has launched two chilly blasts of innovation with two new at-home coffee solutions.

Bringing a protein hit to the chilled aisle, the first of these new products includes a single-serve Hi-Protein Caramel Latte which includes 15g of protein to drive up sales with gym-going consumers at an RRP of £1.15 each.

The second launch is a take-home one litre Arctic Coffee Mocha as the brand aims to make the most of the rising demand for more at-home chilled coffee occasions for £2.20 RRP.

Both are available in Sainsbury’s and Morrisons stores now with a planned launch into Tesco from 11 May.

Made in the Devonshire-based Crediton Dairy with Rainforest Alliance Certified coffee beans, the new launches from Arctic Coffee aim to cover two key shopper missions between the more active gym-recovery drink as well as the more decadent Mocha at home for those looking for a pick-me-up in the house.

Abigail Kelly, head of marketing & insight at Crediton Dairy, said: “Coffee shops have always led the way when it comes to decadent and daring coffee flavours and at a time when consumers need a good reason to part with income, innovation is key to keeping brands relevant.

“We wanted to bring similar great tasting and different options to the supermarket shelves to better meet the needs of shoppers.

“Shoppers are not only looking for nutritional cues and trendy flavours, but they are also looking for indulgence.

“The mocha flavour is underrepresented in the category and there is a lack of good ones on the market that hit on the indulgent chocolate delivery – we’re about to change that.”
