We highlight new products that Scottish c-store retailers might want to stock
1. Maltesers Ice Cream Bar
MARS Chocolate Drinks & Treats has expanded its range of Mars-branded ice creams in time for summer with its Maltesers Ice Cream Bar.
Combining a soft malt flavoured ice cream with mini Maltesers honeycomb pips and covered in smooth milk chocolate, the new launch comes in packs of four 38g bars or as a single 53g bar.
Available in Asda and Morrisons stores now, the four pack comes with an RSP of £2.50 while single bars sit at £2.
The new Maltesers Ice Cream bars will be hitting other store shelves from March of this year to capitalise on the warming weather, including in Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Iceland and Co-op stores.
2. Pollen + Grace ready meals
VEGAN food-to-go brand Pollen + Grace has branched out into the ready meal category for the first time with three new dishes.
Including Rich Aubergine + Lentil Moussaka, Saag Aloo Potato Pie and Thai Red Vegetable Curry, the ready meal range is available at Co-op stores as well as Ocado, Booths and Amazon.
Aiming to tap into the consumer demand for meals that are both healthy and convenient, Pollen + Grace said the meals offer a creative plant-based twist on traditional meal options using only natural ingredients.
Three more dishes are set to join the range later this year – Garden Vegetable Pie, Chickpea TIkka Masala and Thai Green Vegetable Curry.
3. L&B Blue New Crush Fusion
AIMING to offer more valued options for smokers, Imperial Tobacco has grown its popular L&B Blue New Crush line.
The new L&B Blue New Crush Fusion provides adult smokers with a new cooling sensation with its new ‘Fusion’ large bore filter.
Coming with an RRP of £12.50 per pack, the new cigarettes aim to appeal to those who are seeking a new smoking experience at better value for money.

4. The Famous Grouse RSPB limited-edition bottle
EDRINGTON has celebrated the 15th anniversary of the collaboration between The Famous Grouse and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) with a new limited-edition bottle.
Available for purchase now with £17.75 RRP, the new special-edition wrap has been designed by Edinburgh-based artist Nuria Boi, who has re-imagined the bottle design in her signature style while paying homage to the traditional Gilbert the Grouse design.
