Keystore promises supermarket level support to its retailers
THE right shop in the right place for the right shopper mission is something every retailer craves and JW Filshill has developed three distinct formats of KeyStore outlets to meet these different demands.
Alongside its familiar c-stores, the wholesaler has developed an estate of Keystore More stores that it describes as being for customers who can carry a bigger range, with a focus on fresh and chilled.
These stores can also offer additional services such as food to go.
The wholesaler describes its KeyStore Express format as being suited to high street stores or forecourts where the focus is on unplanned impulse purchases.
Filshill said it is always on the lookout for new retailers to join up and it is happy to explain the benefits to any interested operators.
Chief sales and marketing director, Craig Brown, said: “KeyStore is a fresh, tech-forward fascia.
“When we talk to independent retailers who want to find out more about KeyStore, we always tell them that joining Keystore gives them the flexibility of independent retailing with the support network of a big brand supermarket.”
Brown said Filshill views its relationship with its customers as a mutually beneficial partnership.
He continued: “We are looking for tech-savvy, entrepreneurial retailers who have their community interests at the heart of what they do and wish to collaborate with us to take their retail offer to the next level.
“For customers who agree to use our EPOS system there are huge benefits.
“We can tell instantly what is selling in their stores and what is not and tweak planograms accordingly.
“Our cutting-edge technology solutions really help a retailer stay on top of their business wherever they are – in the shop, at home or on the move.”
Turning his attention to what KeyStore operators have on their shelves, Brown said: “We partner with third party providers to supply the best range of fresh and frozen foods at competitive prices and offer a three-weekly promotional package.”
He added that all stores can access KeyStore POS materials.
