Sake Sling Mandarin & Cherry flavour
Daimon Brewery’s take on the traditional Singapore Sling swaps out the gin for sake

RTD cocktail brand Sake Sling has launched, aiming to bring some innovation to the sector.

Made by sake producers Daimon Brewery alongside bartender Wayne Collins, the new RTD come in Yuzu & Melon, and Mandarin & Cherry flavours.

A new take on the classic Singapore sling cocktail, Sake Sling comes in a 250ml can for £4.95 RRP, with an ABV of 5.5%.

Sake Sling said it aims to bring the sake flavour to more consumers across the whole of the UK through the new cans.

A spokesperson for Sake Sling said: “The launch marks an innovative new subsector of the thriving RTD category, with both the sling format and sake itself being relatively unexplored in canned cocktails until Sake Sling’s entrance into the market.

“Backed up by the skill and experience provided by the 200-year-old Daimon brewery, Wayne Collins and the whole project team, the drink is a perfect entrance point into sake’s distinctive flavour profile for those unfamiliar with it, while also being an exciting new twist for those already enthusiastic about the Japanese fermented rice beverage.”
