ORKNEY-based distillery Highland Park has launched the latest whisky in its award-winning Cask Strength series.
Highland Park Cask Strength Release No. 3 is the latest expression to permanently join the range of full-strength whisky that comes straight from the cask and has only been gently filtered before it is bottled.
Tasting notes for the single malt have been described as a balance of charred oak, tropical fruits, aniseed, heather honey, vanilla cream, aromatic violet, sponge cake and peat smoke.
The third addition to the distiller’s Cask Strength series is available now from specialist whisky retailers including The Whisky Exchange, Master of Malt, The Whisky Shop and from the Highland Park online store. The whisky has an RRP of £65 and comes with an ABV of 64.1%.
