DRINKS brands and hospitality businesses were recognised for their sustainability-focused activities at the Footprint Drinks Sustainability Awards last month.
Held in association with C&C Group PLC, the awards celebrate businesses that have implemented changes to improve their environmental credentials.
Winners included Andy Kershaw, of Marstons PLC, who walked away with The Special Achievement Award 2022.
Britvic Soft Drinks scooped the Energy Efficiency award; Whyte and Mackay was awarded the Sustainable Use of Raw Materials gong; and Asahi UK took home the Environmentally Efficient Logistics prize.
Aberdeenshire-based BrewDog topped the Waste Prevention & Management category, and Avallen Spirits won The C&C Group On-Trade Supplier of the Year Award.
