MANY UK consumers brushed up on their mixology skills over lockdown, leading to a boom in popularity for cocktail serves.

It’s with this in mind that Bacardi Limited has brought its Tails Cocktails range to the off trade for the first time.

Previously only available in the on trade, Tails Cocktails comprises a range of pre-made cocktails that only need to be shaken with ice.

Cocktail serves in the range are: Rum Daiquiri, Whisky Sour, Gin Gimlet, Espresso Martini Cocktail and Passion Fruit Martini Cocktail.

Available now in supermarkets, specialist stores and online, each 500ml cocktail bottle includes a QR code that links to a ‘how to’ video to make the drink.

Bacardi also plans to support Tails Cocktails through a digital-focused marketing campaign, which the firm said will help to raise awareness of the brand and encourage trial among consumers.

Evert-Jan Bos, general manager of Tails, said: “Over the last two years, cocktail awareness has boomed as people served up daiquiris, espresso martini cocktails and mojitos to make staying-in feel extra special.

“Now, as the on-trade re-opens, consumers are enjoying the experience of being back in the bar and they’re ordering cocktails more than ever before.

“Tails Cocktails offer both incredible taste and convenience, making it easier than ever for people to enjoy the same flavour and complexity of a cocktail made from scratch, without any effort or expertise.”
