GLASGOW-based Courageous Spirits has released the first flavoured variant under its Glasgow Gin brand.
The new Glaswegin Raspberry & Rhubarb gin is available to independent retailers and is priced at £35 RRP.
Glaswegin Raspberry & Rhubarb’s packaging is in line with the brand’s white square bottle design, which Courageous Spirits reckons will help to maximise its presence on-shelf.
Tasting notes for the new variant describe it as offering a soft taste and lasting flavour, with creamy vanilla notes “reminiscent of raspberry ripple ice cream.”
Leah Shaw Hawkins, head of marketing for Courageous Spirits, said: “We reached out to our community to give them the chance of a preview taste with nearly 3,000 people applying for taster positions. And the feedback was fantastic.
“It provides a versatile cocktail ingredient, yet it retains the freshness of our original London Dry, which is the current holder of World Gin Awards, Best Scottish London Dry Gin.”
