SUSTAINABILITY is always high on the agenda at Premier @ DUSA, the c-store at the heart of University of Dundee’s campus.
Last year, the store was named Sustainability Champion in association with TOMRA at the Scottish Grocer Awards. This year, despite the challenges of the pandemic Moira Dean said her store is still committed to sustainability.
“Because we’ve got a student customer base and as part of the Dundee University Student Association, we’re pushing as a company and as a Premier store to show the students how important sustainability is to us. I’m really passionate about the environment, we are concerned about the future and the climate. Because we’ve got students, it’s what our customers want to see, but to be fair – it’s something we want as well.”
